History and growth
The company was founded by entrepreneur Terje Rødahl in 2013, and since then, Norseye has been delivering quality services to the maritime industries. In the company's early years, the focus was primarily on providing marine services to offshore operators in the Norwegian sector. In 2015, the first maritime surveillance center was completed and has since monitored installations, cables, and other assets at sea.
In 2019, Sidsel Sæterøy joined the ownership, becoming the company's new CEO. A new strategy was then implemented, focusing on increased investment in maritime preparedness and recurring revenue through subscription-based solutions for emergency preparedness and safety management systems for commercial vessels. Over the following years, the company underwent restructuring and relocated to new premises within a maritime industry cluster in Kristiansund. The company embarked on an extensive scaling period with several new hires and a targeted and strategic focus.
